In reference to Section 21 of the Accountants and Auditors (Registration) Act CAP 286, the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) is mandated to deregister an Auditor/Firm incase their conducts are contrary to the Laws, Guidelines, Standards and agreed professional conducts in place.

In view of this, the Board intends to deregister a firm, namely FINCARE AND COMPANY (PF 218) since their Partner and a firm as whole are not adhering to the laws governing the accountancy profession practices in United Republic of Tanzania, thus Accountants and Auditors (Registration) Act CAP 286, Accountants and Auditors (Registration) Bylaws 2023 and Accountants and Auditors (Practicing) Bylaws, 2023 in its generality.

Henceforth, a 90 (ninety) days’ notice is given to the firm, FINCARE AND COMPANY (PF 218) to accomplish necessary legal requirements as per NBAA laws including but not limited to location of their offices and the partner of the firm to report to NBAA office physically together with firms’ registration documents. Contrary to that, for the purpose of protecting public interest from the threats which might be purported due to the existence of this firm, after lapse of 90 days from the date of this notice, the Board will deregister it accordingly.
